Hey Jemima - where have you been?!

Slipknot are pretty tame live…though have only seen them once and it was at a distance. They were singing a song about a donkey? I can’t remember but thought it was very funny at the time :D

saw slipknot at leeds one year for the crack and was very unimpressed. didn’t like their music to start with but it was just boring to watch. For a band who are supposed to have a reputation for “live antics” it was incredibly underwhelming. Best thing they did was walk off stage.

same here, i was forced to see them by some friends at reading 2000 (maybe 2001, i’m not sure). and, to cut a long story short, they were shit. slipknot have always been shit and after having been forced to listen to the new album, they still are.

but they seem to sell a lot of t shirts.

the best one I’ve heard is when coal chamber were popular for a brief period and one of my mates saw 3 people standing together all wearing “Dare to be different” tops. Oh the irony!

Youch! Was it a crowdsurfer? I got knocked out by a boot to the face at a T? gig :( Having said that, I think being unconscious would be preferable to watching Metallica anyway :p heh heh

I was there and Slipknot rocked big time! Id highly reccomend going to see them - the only downer was all the negative Metallica fans who can’t listen to anything else but Lars & co’s ballads. Im definately going to check Slipknot out on one of their own show.
The sound at the show was awful as well - sounded like a cheap car stereo.
