When’s the new album out? I heard a song off it on a Metal Hammer sampler Cd and it was all over the place. No change really.

I saw them last sunday … i think their new singer is like the old one … great!

their shows rock …

you can´t imagine until you saw one of their shows …

early Slipknot shows are like a “kindergarten” compared to them!

Dammit. I missed them a few weeks ago at Provinssirock festival and now after reading this I regret not seeing their show. Although being targeted by flying feces isn’t really my cup of tea but still. I did get a glimpse of them as I was on my way as I had road manager duties and it sparked an interest but now I wish I’d stayed there.

Saw these guys back in February for my birthday with the friend who got me into them in the first place, they were nuts. Now I now what happens when you give instruments to a bunch of seizures and throw’em on a stage. The new album(MISS MACHINE) has been out here in the states since July 20th. It’s really kick-ass, IMO, but a couple of songs might turn off older fans as their a little different from the Dillinger norm(Phone Home, Setting Fire To Sleeping Giants, Unretrofied), but I dug’em. The new vocalist, to me,is great ‘cause he’s pretty much the best parts of Dimitri Minakakas and Mike Patton. On a couple of verses of Phone Home, he sounds a helluva lot like Trent Reznor, and on the chorus of Setting Fire To Sleeping Giants he sounds alot like Patton circa THE REAL THING. I got the copy with a DVD, mostly live stuff from all-over, plus a short film of them working( and generally mucking-about) on MISS MACHINE. If you like thier older stuff, I think you’ll like most of this album, just give thier different stuff a shot.

As much as I respect them as musicians I can’t sit through one of their songs and that says alot.I would put them on to piss off someone or to make everyone leave my party when it’s late:p

I think I’ll catch them live at their tour in November, especially as Poison The Well will be opening. Need to have a good ole noise rock treat (something Helmet won’t be able to deliver, I’m afraid).

YEAAAH!! I saw them live at Leeds, they were the last band we saw. And what a way to end the weekend! They were fucking awesome!

I’ve liked them ever since I heard ‘Irony…’ cos I am a Mike Patton nut (that guy is god!). I got into their other stuff and now I just love them. Made a cd of pretty much all their songs to listen to in my car, and I’m always driving along trying to air drum whilst avoiding crashing (again!).

They ruled at Leeds but their set got cut short, cos they made some people climb the pole in the tent! I will go and see them in December, in Colchester for the last date of the tour. I’m sure that will be awesome!

And in reply to nathex1; Setting Fire to Sleeping Giants is such a good song, Puciato reminds me of Patton in that a lot, especially after that little latin style kinda breakdown.

Also their cover of ‘My Michelle’ by GnR is fucking awesome too! :D
