It’s clearly for Shameless, but I would be very surprised if they ever sold 500,000 copies of that :D

this must have been somewhere in austria, as the beer on the table is zipfer, which (a) isn’t sold outside of austria as far as I know and (b) tastes like piss.

I don’t know how many copies of a record have to be sold here in austria to reach gold status, but certainliy not 500,000.

For some reason I think Gold is 100,000 and Platinum is 500,000. No offence but Shameless would never have sold 500,000 copies, it would have been hard pushed to sell 100,000 copies.
I have no idea that this is right it just seems to ring a bell somewhere.

In Finland are these limits and as you see it isn’t much;

Single
Golddisk 5.000
Platiniumdisk 10.000

Album
Golddisk 15.000
Platinium 30.000
Double platinium 60.000
Triple platinium 90.000

These were much higher but they changed the limits a few years back.

Easily within Therapy’s? reach then, so helps explain the gold disc a little.
