New album cover

Started by marksims

What do we think should be on the cover????

I reckon a piccy of Tony Blair with a flag of Iraq behind him might go down well in the current climate…

Or someone in a cold dank cell sitting on the bench, and to his left the door is opening and a priest is entering…that could be quite good!!

Or a collage of photos of us Therapy? fans making a face?

Get thinking people, if Andy and the boys read this and get some ideas we could get kudos for thinking of the cover.

Regards and ROCK!!!!

Mark.

I like the cell photo idea. It needs to be black-and-white and quite minimalistic.

I like the “cell” idea too.

with a title like “never apologise never explain” something really stark and blank would be good too though. just one colour (red? black? or a dodgy green, maybe) with the title written on it.

or a picture of the band from behind, looking up into a stormy sky.

I think the ideal cover would be a union jack next to the Irish flag with barbwire and a heart in between.

I always thought this would have baan a great T?-album cover and with this album title they don’t have to explain what the cover is about and they certainly don’t have to appologise for it.

@Fiestaboy: Cool idea, though those colours are too bright for my tired eyes to take… ;)

@RatHype, again, cool idea. (with bonus of no bright colours :D) I liked the first one better, though with only one drain.

With this title, I think they’re entitled (no pun, much) to have anything fo rthe cover, aren’t they? Not that that stops them anyway (rabbits in a cinema)! :D

someone posted a pic on the wom with all the ex-members heads as trophies on the wall but i can’t find it. that one would be great together with the title.

Title: RatHype’s design taken a little further

I liked RatHype’s idea so I thought I would add my own interpretation of RatHype’s idea…

The last concept - It’s a little too bloody for me. Looks like some we-wanna-be-evil-baby-band like Slipknot. Liked the first one better.

Title: bloody cover :)

… oh I’m upset… look I’m crying!!! haha no-one realised I was being ironic…

… Therapy? playfully toy with the notion of evvviillll so thats why I made it so bloody and also because I like it when they reinvent themselves… you never know quite what your going to get… hence the bloody cover being so different to all the other Therapy? covers :)

… haha thank you… have a nice day… drive thru please!! ]:)>

You all seem better artists than me, so I’ll just describe my idea - have a pic if T? marching out of some sort of governmental chamber (House of Commons/UN security council etc, you get the idea), with their heads in the air and smiling, prob dressed in black Ts and jeans or something with a Gemil on, and behind them, through the doors into the chamber, a scene of uproar, with angry looking MPs in suits shouting and raising fists etc.

Hmm, my idea is to have CE’s description just written on the front of the cd. Who needs artwork anyway? ;)

Dont’t you think an artistic cover like ‘master if puppets mixed with vertigo and troubblegum’ should be a good idea, a good concept ?

An artistic cover? Why not. Or they could put a Manowar-like photo of themselvves on the sleeve. The title of the album would never become so true again. :D
