Andy says that he has a month off now and will be using this time to write more of the ‘Story Behind The Song’ section :)

well, some of my thoughts based on things T? said or my free interpretation:

Opal Mantra: This is introduced as a “fucked up love song” by Andy on one of the bootlegs I have, so I suppose it is sort of a “nice” way to say the last goodbye to someone.

Teethgrinder: About taking speed.

Totally Random Man: About having not full control over your thoughts, feeling dearranged, in a mess (totally my interpretation, it`s dedicated to Fyfe on one of the bootlegs though, hmmm..)

Neck Freak, Evil Elvis, : “Women can really be like Kryponite to Men” :D

Disgracelands: “Things are fucked up in the U.S.”

actually alot of therapy? songs are about being fucked up, drugs or fucked up on drugs \m/

It seems that Therapy?’s early stuff is more cryptic lyrically speaking. But here’s a few i’ve thougth about for myself:

‘Screamager’ is simple to work out (i always thougth the word was a pun on ‘teenager’) is probably about teen angst (as is ‘Femtex’ I imagine).

‘Die Laughing’ is about taking lots of drink and drugs and having a good time.

Alot of early stuff was about serial killers ‘fantasy Bay’ and ‘Trigger Inside’ while ‘Skinning Pit’ and ‘Gone’ are about abuse.

Die Laughing I always associate with Heroine specifically. Fuel was added to my thinking as on the DVD it’s dedicated to Kurt Cobain and Phil Lynott…I can’t remember who else it’s dedicated to but that’s probably end up proving me wrong anyway (Frank Carson being a prime example :rolleyes: )
