Hope to not step into any ‘FettnÀpfchen’ here, but they do sound very rough. Is there still going to be any mastering done on them? Sound is a little rough and demo like.

Yep, old school Therapy? indeed.
These are Real Player files. Except the album to sound better, motherh. .ra files always sound a bit like listening to music in an aluminium can.
I don’t know what to think of the songs yet. Therapy? always takes me a few listens, with High Anxiety being the only exception I think…and even there I didn’t immediately like Hey Satan. I think going back to one guitar wasn’t a bad decision at all…this is the least rock’n’roll album since Infernal Love. I love Semi-Detached, Suicide Pact and High Anxiety, and enjoy Shameless, but it’s great to have a more industrial sounding album for a change!

I don’t know yet what to make of T?’s going back to rough bass riffs and shrieking guitars since I’m still getting used to their last change of style…
The vocals on ‘rise up’ remind me a lot of the nurse album. I like that high speed rhythm in the chorus of ‘panic’ and ‘this ship..’ well… it’ll take me a lot of listenings till I like this tune I guess.

The songs are brilliant, really back to the roots. Maybe it’s no coincidence they included old songs in their live sets (like Dancin’ With Manson or Meat Abstract).
Just a theory: maybe us wombles with our live poll for the last tour made them rediscover their old style and N.A.N.E. is the result.
Rise Up is the killer so far.

The bass and the deep sounds of the guitar have lots to do with that. My favourite up until now definitely is Panic. Michael is really manical on that although Rise Up comes close.

I have to admit, as much as it puts me in the minority — I’m really hoping my opinion will alter when I hear the tracks in better quality, because at the moment, I’m pretty much *shrug* about it.
Of course, I’m still excited about hearing the album etc etc, but the three tracks on Peoplesound have not, in the slightest, increased the whet in my appetite. Ahem.
And, of course, I’m waiting to be proved wrong by my inability to pick out the RAWK in a lo-fi recording… but there we go, thought I would just say that I don’t share that whole craziness about the new songs that everyone else seems to at this stage…

back to the roots, it’s true…
Andy sings like in nurse and babyteeth, michael’s riffs are perfect (and heavy!), Neil goes 300 km/h…
I think I prefer T? with two guitars (or T? with one guitar but softer, like in Troublegum)…but those three songs I know that after a few times I’ll love them!
Rock on!
Now more than ever!

This is a welcome surprise, didn’t expect those tracks to sound like they do, and like everyone can’t wait for the album to come out now. Think i like this ship is sinking best so far, some very fyfe-like drumming from mr.cooper there, rise up is also class

I really love the songs, all 3. Both Rise Up & This Ship Is Sinking sounds REALLY great, Panic takes more time.
Especially I like This Ship…, Andy’s vocals is absolutely great and all those “ship-effects” (horns, etc.)& ending just leaving guitar play alone hypnotic tunes (I don’t know how to descibe it here) are killer bits in that tune.
That guitar ending sounds like it’s morse coding, anyone know is it really or does it just sound like that?
Truly classic, hopefully we will hear lots of new songs in gigs like the time HA came out.
To hear those tracks made a feeling a little bit easier to wait for the album…
