Any idea if the “limited edition” (mentioned in pre-order thread) is going to be released here, too?

no US/Canadian release date as of yet (sigh).

They should really pair up with Helmet for Helmet’s US tour that was just delayed. (Starting in October).

For the Belgian visitors of the site, in the program we use at work to order CD’s it only states the Limited Edition so far so the normal edition will be available when the limited editions are sold out.

And the normal edition will feature much more extra’s than the limited edition as everyone does these days.

I’m not fanatic enough to buy both versions.

That’s just an assumption referring to the stunt Placebo pulled with putting out a new version of the CD with the extra disc filled with covers half a year after the original version was released.

Then again, if there is a limited edition, there must be an unlimited edition and I have no idea what extras there will be on the limited edition so I presume that the unlimited edition has something more than the limited edition.

D’you know what I mean? I sure as hell don’t.

Hmmm other Belgian internetshops offer both the limited and “normal” edition at the same time…

For some reason, I don’t really like limited editions. I like normal CDs that line up on my CD rack with the rest of my collection, and work easily in my computer. Jewel cases and non-enhanced CDs all the way.
Not to mention that the ‘extra’ stuff is usually crap.

Just what I thought. If you consider yourself a fan and want T? to be around for a while, maybe it would be a good idea to support the band instead of complaining about everything you think they do wrong and are assuming they will be doing wrong. I’m pretty sure that’ll be more helpful.

Huh? The ‘unlimited edition’ is obviously the normal release of the album containing all songs, and as far as I know nothing else. Limited editions usually contain extras compared to the normal release, not the other way around.

There will be a limited edition containing live videos for Teethgrinder and Who Knows (I think these will be taken from Scopophobia, but I’m not sure) and a link to the site where you can download previously unreleased content.

Hey Rene, hows it goin?

Just a couple of questions - is the “link to previously unreleased content” just the “audio” section of this site?

I take it you’ve heard NANE - what do you think?

Hey Dermot, all’s well here - and you? No, the mentioned link is not to the audio section of the site. It is a completely new page with content that was specifically made for the limited edition release of NANE. It has not been published anywhere before, including this site.

I’ve heard the album indeed (again and again and again ;-)) and it’s - as they say - the dog’s bollocks. It has the raw edge of SP-YF, reminds a bit of Nurse here and there, but is a completely fresh album in its own right at the same time.

As there’s only one guitar left, Michael’s bass playing has become more prominent again and Neil is doing a great job on his kit. Andy has again come up with some great riffs and has the raw edge to his vocals which I personally like a lot, on most of the album.

Definitely recommended!

Have you read the stories from Andy and the lyrics yet, by the way?

Now there’s an idea… shop ! shop! shop!.

Put the CD in the shop and I might treat myself to something else at the same time. Like a T? Action doll, T? Lunchbox or a T?-bag…T? Contraceptives?..T?Squash rackets?

Buying it

a) in the shops
b) Online
c) Here?

I’ll do whatever would be most beneficial to T? and don’t say buying 2500 copies.

I don’t actually know what the arrangement will be for CD’s purchased on this site, but I’m guessing that will be most beneficial. I’ll get back to you on this.

Thats good to hear about the new audio stuff Rene - wont bother ordering the normal version off amazon then.

Those lyrics & stories are such a tease - I’m actually feeling a slight sensation of physical pain i want to hear this album so much (well maybe not quite but you get the idea :D)

Haven’t been able to listen to an advance copy this time. I like the three songs I’ve heard online, Rise Up is probably my favourite

I’ve heard from T?’s manager about this, and he said:

Quote (author unknown):

As for the Limited Edition cd..well practically every territory is now going with it so I don’t see the need to put it up on the T Shop. It would only delay things for the fans who wanted to buy it. I doubt if our system would be as good as the Amazon system!!

Obviously T would benefit most if we sold it ..but the fans would lose …probably more costly and certainly slower. Buying in the shops would most likely be best in terms of Chart returns. But save money too..get it where it costs least.

As it turns out the CD won’t be available for purchase on this site, I’d like to suggest pre-ordering it online, or buying/ordering it from the nearest shop that has it in their catalogue asap.
