I wasn’t aware of this…you can’t go around knocking the Carcass!

he was a bit funny when he quit saying about music, and then did spiritual beggars??… he seems to be all friendly with them these days he was chatting away with jeff walker at download and bigging carcass up again. But he does seem to act like a penis quite a bit and be all rock star..which jeff and bill steer stay away from. Still think he is a good musician and I like arch enemy.
Also i see that Jeff is now the bass player in Brujeria!

No idea…though there IS a Shit fan who works here, so there’s one at least.

Currently listening to a load of Hed Kandi stuff for a customer at work.

Not my kind of thing (“No shit!” - Everyone on WoM) but if I was into dance-y stuff, this would be the stuff I’d listen to. I can appreciate the quality of it even though I can’t help thinking “Hmmmmm what this song needs right at this point is some blast beat double bass pedal drumming, some indecipherable growling (which, according to the lyric sheet, is about How Annoying Christians Are) and a wanky guitar solo…”

Two Slayer tracks I downloaded off Woolies’ website, from Divine Intervention…pretty cack actually.

I think next up I will download the whole of the remastered and expanded Another Perfect Day by Motorhead, the one and only album of theirs to feature ex-Thin Lizzy Guitar pisshead Brian Robertson.

EDIT: I desperately need some good new music, as I am treading water going through old stuff I have heard a million times..AArrrrrrgh!

Does this happen to everyone or is it just me?!

What the FUCK is Alex going on about in the middle of La Villa Strangiato?!

(PS That guitar solo in the middle, during the quiet bit thet builds up is one of my all time fave pieces of guitar music - love it love it love it!)

EDIT: Currently listening to Verve Remixed Vol 3

Basically old back catalogue tracks from jazz label Verve (not to be confused with the band The Verve (they in fact had to add the “the” because of legal action from the label)) such as Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan, remixed by modern artists such as Gotan Project, Felix Da Housecat etc. Odd but interesting.

but..”Interesting” rather than, um, “good”. :D

I think the Thom Yorke album is cool, i’m into all that warp record stuff anyway so compared to somethings i have it’s very tuneful and interesting.

I’m currently listening to Superjoint Ritual- A lethal Dose of american hatred;)

Dennis mate I like it, some of the songs are a bit similar..a bit more punky at times to his other stuff, i still think Down is better but i’m getting into this only on my first listen.
