I really REALLY like Christmass. Its mostly acoustic stuff recorded from his last US trek, but there are some new songs in there too, and they’re excellent. I personally think its the most accessible of the albums i have of his. The DVD is a real treat too. Its all culled from one acoustic show, and i think there are only 1 or 2 tracks featured on both the dvd and cd, so you get something like 30 tracks across both formats. VERY impressive. Go, buy! :D

sounds impressive!
first i was not too sure what to think about it, because there are a lot of songs that i already know, with the difference that they are acoustic on this compilation. although i am sure, i won’t regret buying it :)
i am really looking forward to get it. especially the dvd seems to be attractive! i hope that some frank black dvd’s will follow any time soon. i really wouldn’t mind seeing the catholics in action, and of course some shows from about ‘96 and new performances with the new band!

It’s a brilliant album still!
I started to like the track Total Invasion more and more.
The latest Muse is brilliant too! Pretty groovy and has nice melodies.
And some Nick Cave - The Boatman’s Call. Definitely best Cave album.

i wish i could’ve seen him with the Catholics. I’m not even sure he intends to work with them again?

well, that’s what everybody is thinking… there’s not a official statement i believe, but i think some guys mentioned it on the fb forum. so i believe it’s true! :(
that’s very sad, they were brilliant! and so much different then just normal rock. not this 0-8-15 stuff…
although i like frank’s solo stuff too

wrong. no more shall we part i’d say. but the boatman’s call is one of my favourite too! :)
by the way there’s a new side project called “grinderman”, with a few members of the bad seeds. haven’t heard it yet, but they say it sounds more like cave’s old band “the birthday party”… so i’m expect some trashy stuff
