Have you heard their new album ( Falling Down A Mountain ) yet ?
Got it in the mail from a magazine to write a review about it.
Didn’t like it at all , not a patch on earlier albums and I wrote it off as one of the main contenders for disappointment of the year.

^ Ah. I’ve ordered it, but it hasn’t arrived yet. I heard one song from it (Black Smoke), which I quite liked. And… I… umm… like the cover…

Specially like the version which Spermicide plays, a nice mixture of MH and Ramones tunes!

I’ve never heard anything by AIC before. Fuck knows what I was doing in the early 90s, but I missed some crackers didn’t I? I think I could really get into them in a big way. I think I’m going to have a grunge year.

Their first album Wisconsin Death Trip is amazing, I think. Their sound varies a bit from album to album, and personally I’m not keen on their 2nd album Machine. They’re hard rock, I guess a bit nu-metal-ish, with good use of electronics, keyboards etc, and some fairly crazy vocals. I suppose it’s almost like metal infused with dance/trace stuff.
Ummm, so I like them, don’t suppose everyone would though.

Yeah the first two cd’s are pretty rubbish… I for some reason never bought there other albums so got the boxset so i could have them all in one go. They made quite a jump in their sound when J joined them.. which makes me wonder how much of the music side of things was down to him?

It’s former Aereogramme members sounding like Aereogramme, i.e. absolutely awesome.

I only really know Aereogramme from the split/combo they did with Isis, which is an outstanding EP. I did check out some Aereogramme songs on their MySpace after that, but they seemed a little flat to me.
