Rise Up tonight on BBC Radio 1

There is a really good chance that Rise Up will be played tonight on BBC Radio 1 on both The Lock Up between 9-11pm (should be in the first hour), and the Rock Show between 1-3am.

If you hear it, why not send an e-mail or text message or post a message on their message boards saying how much you like it!

Also, Steve Lamacq has indicated that he will be playing T? on his show soon. This time for real ;-)

Only the second time I heard the song (didn’t want to play those three songs to death before the rest of the album). It blew me away. Again. ;) The vocals on the verse take some getting used to, but the whole thing is fucking class. I’m so happy. :D

Just got a forward from Andy saying that the text/email response to the Rock Show was fantastic and has secured future plays for Rise Up; also some hints that it will be appearing on Steve Lamacq and the Lock Up soon… :D

(p.s. Andy’s latest diary entry clears up any worries about the band splitting.)
