Latest diary entry

#

Started by Alex

Just a minor note in response to Andy’s latest diary entry — I get the impression that he is suggesting that a significant amount of the mails he read that contained virus did so through malicious intent.

Whilst I don’t doubt it happens, I would like to respectfully suggest that nowadays, on the whole, viruses spread through users’ inaction, rather than someone targetting a particular person. Yes, of course, those viruses get written and released into the wild, but with adequate client protection, I would think that Andy would not be receiving any more spam and virus-containing mail than anyone else…

The moral from my point, if it is considered valid, is not to lose hope in communicating by mail from the “untrusted” masses…

Are you not more worried by the fact that Andy seems to be insinuating that if NANE doesn’t do as well as HA then it may be curtains for the mighty T?? :(

That was also an impression I got from reading the entry. I don’t know how well HA did in sales figures, but it seems necessary to produce a record which means T? are still worth being offerd a record deal, actually a better one than they have at the moment. And as they don’t get younger they need to have a deal to make a living of, esp. after obviously putting their own money into the band for such a while now.
So let’s hope for the best.

I’m sure that would have been the case following HA, and following SP-YF etc.

In other posts, Andy has said he/T? will be going for years to come.

Either way, there is nothing I can do to control it. I have offered all the support I personally can, and not all of it has been taken up, be it by band or record company. So if there’s another album, great. If there isn’t, and if there are no more tours, it will be sad. But what can I do?

Yes, the only thing us supporters( I don’t like the word fan) can do is stalk radiostations, friends( and enemies with Die like a motherfucker) and forum by shouting out loud about how great NANE is,and of course mention the live dates in your country etc…The rest is up to the boys, and depends on some good luck as well. So now I am off stalking again!:D
