I heard them for the first time last night on studio brussels. i loved it, a psychodelic woman on the mike and a pianoplaying lunatic… just great

What album should I get to keep my interest?

They only have their self-titled debut album out. I ordered it today ‘coz I also love Coin-Operated Boy.
Actually the psychedelic woman plays the piano. The lunatic usually plays drums.
They’re currently on tour and should be worth seeing (I can’t make it to one of their shows though :( ).

PS: and tatty should check them out as she’s got red hair. :D

I think they’re playing in belgium next week in the ab. Maybe I will go there. It was probably that song I heard. Thank you both for the info. Two really nice boys :)

well he’s an older man :). Not that much older than me, which is a shame though, because I like older men. I thought that he was at least 8 years older than me, but it’s only 3.

Enjoy them and give us a brief report how they are on stage.

Maybe I’ll be at the AB in November. As my best mate probably can’t make it to any German T? show I try to convince him to see them in Brussels (I need him as a driver :) )

brussels is a very nice city. i could give you some adresses to stay the night. The south trainstation is said to be very nice and warm during the night

you could also try the central station but I was told it’s a bit crowdy

and if you and your friend are looking for a nice date, the streets around the vlaamse gemeenschap buildings are always a nice place to hang out

:p

We’ve been to Brussels on Easter Sunday to see Nomeansno at the VK so I already know all the beautiful places.

I’ve hung around train stations throughout the night often enough after concerts. I don’t want that to happen too often again. Must have something to do with my age.
Or they just remind me of home. :)

i can’t go. this is sooooooooo not cool. 2 reasons:

-sold out. yesterday it was not, but today it was. I’m an idiot for not buying tickets.
-Had to go alone probably because boyfriend really wanted to stay home and watch soccer (allroy have a fieldday with this, it’s offered to you on a plate :))

bollocks, crap,

So you punish yourself for having a boyfriend being a football addictand yourself being lazy?
If every woman would act that way I’d only have to look for masochistic sluggards to fall for me. Thanks for the inspiration. :)

Oh, and I feel sorry for you, really.

I also wanted to say something on the ” if every woman…” part, but people would get the wrong impression of me :)

I will have to buy the album now

I also try to buy cds at shows, it gives more money to the band (I suppose) and keeps me from spending too much money on tshirts (except the band is so good that I ‘ve got to have both).

don’t buy t-shirts at a show because the T-shirt are always to big and the girlie shirts are always to small (except for the twilight singers-show)

I don’t look like a fatpile with hands and legs poking out, just a normal woman, without anorexia

If girlie shirts are too small for you, it’s because you’re a woman and not a girlie. It doesn’t naturally imply that you’ve got weight problems.

I love the pianbo in it. Especially on girl anachronism. The melody of that song really describes my mental health in the morning :), and missed me is so precious. my god I love it
