very sceptically went to see the dead kennedys on the “reunion” tour in 2001 and was very surprised. pity Jello/i’m such a prick.
Fresh Fruit… needs to be heard now more than ever (bush et al)

i saw a picture of them lately their old grey and balding.theyve changed their singer three times.its an unfunny joke.what a sad end.i agree fresh fruit is as relevant now as it was twenty years ago but as regards the infighting between them i reckon biafra shoulders most of the blame.by what ive read he sounds like hes become an old bitter petty self parody.sad but true

Jello is still an amazing and incredibly hot performer though.

Dead Kennedys were a great band. I can’t say much about their recent reformation as I’ve yet to hear them, but in their heyday, they were really something.

Fresh Fruit…is their best known work along with Too Drunk To Fuck (can’t believe that was a Top 40 hit), but my fave DK album has to be Frankenchrist.

Yup, that was the album that had HR Giger’s infamous poster included and later had Jello Biafra in court, but look pass all that and there’s an underrated album. For me at least, it’s still relevent like Fresh Fruit…and the social issues and stereotypes of the States still stick out to this day.
