wouldn’t worry about this review too much, i mean, he says ill advised cover of Diane, even though diane did pretty well.

Most reviewers are full of shite.

When i saw weezer at shepheards bush, they did the most shittest show, playing nothing but new songs, then squeezing in 5 old ones at the end, they were on for only 55 minutes. The gig got 5 k’s in kerrang.

When i saw weezer after at brixton, they actually mixed the set really well, and even they were getting crap reviews, and they were actually saying how awful the shows are compared to that sheperds bush one. On my way home, so many people were saying how shite it was, just about anyone who was there.

So theres one example of fuck the reviewer, You wouldnt know how to use your dick even if someone glued your hand to it and kept saying “point up”

At least kerrang have give NANE a respectable 4/5 this time around

I don’t like reviewers either. They’re always trying to be so “I know everything better about music”, and “Look at me, I’m so arty farty that I dare to write stuff like that”. Or the need they have to “trash” everything that has been around for ages, except offcourse the really classic stuff like rolling stones or U2, they’re just to much of a sissy-ninny to critic that.

I just heard the new U2 song on the radio, and I thought it was complete and uther bullshit, and I normally like what they do. But I’m pretty sure the “critics” will disagree with me.

:rolleyes: I think Erik is abit laughable really- distancing himself from this metal, that metal etc, yadda yadda- concerned about image then- thats not very good is it! Especially as for most of the review he seems to be trying to make himself sound credible and cool as a pretencious wanker by raking up the brownie points- name that here, mention how distant and therefore aloof/cool I am there. I think the best bit is the abstract/dying on its arse weird dream story that doesn’t hold any interest and clearly shows why;
1) hes an unknown journo- no writing/creative ability of his own, which has the follow up
2) No creativity- we don’t see him out there effecting the world and influencing musicians as T? do.

someone posted this review before, it is complete and utter bollocks, but with him saying “pre-Bizkit” said it all to me. He thinks that nu-metal is cliched and predictable. Limp Bizkit and all the rest of them, bwith the exception of one or two bands, are shite. Its badly written, uncreative and seems to fit this guy perfectly.
