I’m noticing a distinct trend.

Cover of Diane probably T?’s best known song
If It Kills Me the acknowledged best song on HA
Long Distance the current favourite - by a long distance (shoot me)

Basically T? are at their best when writing melancholy poppish “touching” (for want of a better word) songs.

If they released such songs, I reckon they’d be looking at mass appeal.

Maybe, but do we want that? I know I don’t. I prefer T? in small venues like De Melkweg, Nightown, 013, Paard van Troje and not in places fit for 10,000. I want to hear, see, smell and touch them. (For obvious reasons I left out ‘taste’ ;))
