We’re currently 13th from 16 teams having played 13 matches. We’re trying to avoid relegation as the years before and to achieve that the club recently appointed former Rangers coach Dick Advocaat.
The next time you come over you’ll be surprised to see our new ground. No more Bökelberg, we’ve got a new 53000 capacity stadium built outside of town.

I always knew Borussia fans are everywhere. :)

Yeah, still have them. But as the new stadium’s bigger and me and my mates changed our season tickets from the terraces to upper tier seats, they’re not as deafening anymore.:)

It’s so funny to see a guy obsessed with soccer talk about the team he’s suporting as ‘we’ this and ‘we’ that. So funny.:)

This is true love, much deeper than a relationship with a woman can ever be (though our sex life is not the best I must admit :D ).

and most of all, it’s a love for LIFE!!! there is no “they” for the club you support and love through thick and thin, rain and sleat. and sometimes your club rewards you with half a day of sunshine, once in a blue moon. football, i just love you!!!! erm, sorry for getting carried away:rolleyes:

Nope, thanks for showing an ignorant woman (though her boyfriend has a season ticket for RSC Anderlecht!!!) the true and heartfelt love for a club.
So she thinks of you as a madman as well, I suppose. :D

Ah, you won’t believe what a hard decision it was not to follow Borussia to Stuttgart next Saturday but be in Glasgow to see Aereogramme instead. I wouldn’t do it if there were no Old Firm derby that day (I’m a Ger man (wow, I’m really impressed by my own pun  :D )).

right then, let me clear a few things up here:

he’s got a season ticket, and thinks that people who call their club “we” or “us” is funny? he must be one of those corporate ones sitting in a box having prawn sandwiches during the game. then again, seeing anderlecht getting thrashed by bremen…oh no wait, there is another reason, he’s from belgium (according to my dutch friends, people from belgium are a bit “different”:D

i don’t even comment on figo.

and i am impressed, allroy! you support the Gers, i take it? or the Hoops??

have fun and enjoy Glesgie

Some notes from me:

Actually she thinks “we” and football are a funny connection though her boyfriend is a season ticket holder and, therefore, she should know better.

Yes, I’m true blue.

Yes, Belgians are different (but, I must admit, in a positive way :o ).

It’s marja’s connection Dulli = Figo = men she drools over :)
he is a seasonticket holder for terrace places (i think). This means he has the opportunity to go and see all the home matches, but when he has something better to do (yes he has his priorities straight :)) he doesn’t go. And now don’t go all “ah, it’s because you don’t let him go”-bullshit on me, because he can go where he wants and when he wants (mind that I said go and not do :)) and I don’t have to take part in everything he does. I don’t like going to soccer, so he goes by himself and when he’s home we go out. So I don’t sit at home moaning over him not being with me. come on, we have an adult relationship

That’s quite a rant isn’t it :)

@allroy: you forgot to mention Joaquin phoenix and Raine Maida in that list for drooling :)

On the other hand, I do know what off side means, I can even explain it. And I used to play soccer myself.

and oh yes, he never ever says “we” have to play tonight. he says: I’m going to see the game. I like it, but it’s only a game.

Yep, what a rant.

So obviously your boyfriend isn’t a real football fan (each to his own, no mock intended).

And your relationship seems to have been the target of some teasing as you’re very thin-skinned on this topic.
No need to explain, I just stop making remarks about it, didn’t want to get on your nerves with it.

Oh, and it’s not just a game, it’s much, much more.

I missed the goals as I had already fallen asleep during half-time. And now I’m awake in the middle of the night.
By the way, the red shirts are shite.:(

No problem, I’m still busy eating marzipan so that Citizen Erased will get none.
