I know that the Epiphone Thunderbird sucks… Never played the firebird. Well, with guitars like that, its the luck of the draw, really.

Maybe some of NANE/HA are in drop C, it’s impossible to tell, and there are no riffs that would be difficult to play in standard C as opposed to drop C, as far as I know. I do however know that when they played anything from HA/NANE live, or with Polar Bear (at least) in the studio, it was in standard C, with the exceptions mentioned above, from what I’ve seen.

From the polar bear video, and listening to the album I worked it out…but it’s in the tuning I use, and it’s note for note…This goes for who knows too.I’m gonna figure this out “if it kills me”

(ps, the firebird is a lot better than the thunderbird, with quite a nice metalic sound(not metalica by the way))

I found bass lines of Rise up, This ship is sinking, Polar bear and Long distance just messin’ around with GDAE tuning.
And it proves that I can play by ear. But I’m not a great bass player.
Rock on!
