At one point, they were HUGE, everyone was into them, you couldn’t move for some twat in black, three-quarter-length shorts and a FNM T Shirt…
My personal fave song of theirs at the moment is Digging The Grave. Great riffery!

Album of the Year is fucking ace too, just for Stripsearch and Naked infront of the computer.
Tomahawk fucking rule, specially with John Stainer of Helmet on drums.

I would have to say Angel Dust is their best - That album is fucking brilliant from start to finish.
Faith No More were one of the greatest bands ever, and Mike Patton is one seriously funny twat. Did anyone see the Angel Dust documentary that MTV made and subsequently never showed? (it ended up being flogged on dvd on ebay)

I think Album Of the Year is my fave, closely followed by Angel Dust. The Real Thing sounds a bit 80’s hair metal now. Great scream in Surprise You’re Dead by Patton though!
Not sure when Tomahawk have a new one coming but Fantomas should be back with a new one soon.

King For A Day… is my personal favorite album of ALL time and Angel Dust is closely behind it, that’s how good FNM were. Mr. Bungle were god-like, too.
I can still remember when I was 10 years old or something and I bought “Angel Dust” for “Easy”, only to discover the song wasn’t even on the album (it was the first pressing and now I’m lucky to have it). Anyway, I hated the album and later I hated KFAD until finally it clicked and I turned into a FNM maniac for years to come. Unfortunately Mike Patton lost me somewhere between Maldoror and the third Fantômas album. It’s about time he turns to melody again, if you ask me. Tomahawk didn’t do much for me.

He will be releasing his “peeping tom” project soon which is very melodic and probably the most commercial thing he has done from what i have heard.

i never noticed before that Mike “Puffy” Bordin, although he uses a right handed setup, reverses his hands so he uses his right stick for the snare…
i remember the first time i heard them - digging the grave. still a top tune IMO although all their albums seem to have a few turkeys on there.
anyway, angel dust is the tits.

That way , you have to have the ride cymbal also on the left which looks kinda silly. He should just play a left handed set up.

yeah would probably make more sense, but he obviously plays the right handed setup with his feet (if that makes sense) so i don’t know how this would work… a bit odd but anyway. is not as bad as cormac battle playing a right handed guitar (still strung as a right handed guitar) left handed! completely baffles me.

Same goes for the Papa Roach drummer as far as I can remember

i remember puffy filled in for david silveria of korn when he had RSI or whatever it was. i wonder if that worked??? can’t imagine anybody filling in for neil adequately if he was somehow unable to play. unless fyfe made a reappearance… but he’d have to have a double bass set up of course.

Who’s Cormac? It’s not a nick name for Hendrix, is it? Cause Hendrix did that, too, I believe.
Anyway, as long as it works for Puffy, what does it matter which set up he uses?

I think Fyfe has giiven up drumming now so it might have have to be Joey from Slipknot!

Thank god for that, I thought I was imagining things..I noticed this on the Ozzy Osbourne Budokan DVD (Yup, Bordin plays (or at least playED)as part of Ozzy’s band).
Prince had a drummer called John Blackwell who was a leftie with a right-handed kit, and it opens up all kinds of odd possibilities that right-handers just couldn’t manage.
