Leadmill anyone?

#

Started by Jimmy_Ska2001

Just wondering if anyone else is going to see T? in Sheffield on Friday.
I’m going to make sure I get some food before though, last time when I saw Wildhearts/T? I didn’t have time so got a couple of burgers from the back bar - the only good thing I can say about them is that I didn’t have food poisoning the next day

Yup, I’ll be there, lurking in the shadows at the back sipping on a mug of Complan like the aging geezer that I am ;)My younger and more agile buddy will no doubt be bouncing around in the pit :)

Can’t wait!

Let me know if Andy wears the mask during Polar Bear.

By the way: get drunk and headbang!

I couldn’t get drunk unfortunately as I was driving. It was a good gig anyway - loads of songs I haven’t heard live for a while (or ever).
No sign of a polar bear mask though :(
Took a little while for the crowd to warm up, and a few sound problems, but I’m now aching from lots of headbanging and bouncing :D

The sound was a bit wank at times but it was a great night. The venue seemed a bit emptier than it has been on previous occaisions. I was at the front and I have no bruises at all :( Neck hurts though.

They played a lot of stuff from NANE, as you’d expect. They played quite a lot of the new stuff right at the start though which is why I think the crowd took a while to warm up. Lots of the usual stuff (Die Laughing, Nowhere, Teethgrinder etc). Neil’s drumming was bloody amazing!

Innocent X - great song, I bounced all the way through.

I mentioned to my g/f (who was watching from the back) that most of the lasses were standing near Michael - she says she doesn’t understand as she thinks he looks ‘gay’
She says she prefer Mr Cairns as he’s more masculine.

Personally I prefered Sam - what about everyone else?

Hello Everybody

Nice reading the above comments on the leadmill gig, I was there and I thought the atmosphere was great. I was near the front on the left hand side, oh and thanks to the guy who offered to take a photograph of me and my g/f.

The merchandise was great and I am now the proud owner of the “live like a fucker” t-shirt. As well as a signed copy of the new album.

Thanks also to mcdogfood for posting the set list, I think this is about spot on and I have written this down as I was trying to remember the set list the other day but couldnt remember it exactly.

Title: Signed copy of album

Yes at the leadmill gig they had 15 signed copies of the new album “never apologise never explain”. These were signed in gold pen and it looks great. I think I may even get it framed. I turned up nice and early and got my hands on a copy and the unbelievable thing is it only cost £12.00. I paid more than that in HMV the other week when I bought a copy, but hey who cares.
