Need help with a booktitle

#

Started by gf.

Am looking for a book, but don’t know the title, nor the author and actually can’t remember the story either..gonna be a tricky one! Think the name of the auteur is something like Enquist/Rosenquist and think it’s a woman. As i said I don’t remember the content but I think it’s about somebody who works at a phoneservice and has to connect phonecalls. The person could be blind, but I’m not sure. It’s all about communication and relationships. Maybe he plays an important part in helping the people, cos he knows all the stories. Any help is most welcome!

Have you tried googling “enquist phone” or some sort of combination along those lines?

If you can remember a bit of the plot you could try whichbook.net - select the character/plot/setting option and see if it comes up with the one you are thinking of :)

Found it! Woohoo… It’s De liefde van Don Jubilo or Swift as Desire by Laura Esquivel, Mexican writer. Let’s hope the bookstore in this little village has it. Looks like I’ll get all the pie..;)
