New(er) Therapy? fans…

#

Started by Andy Bantam

I was just reading a thread asking the age of therapy fans.

We all appear to be of a similar age. I was wondering if anybody got into therapy? after Infernal Love?

Cool,

As long as they can recruit new fans the T? can continue!

Everyone seems to keep banging on about Troublegum. Troublegum is good, but I prefer the albums that came after Infernal Love.

I always get funny looks for saying that… as if I’m odd…

I have a favourite, but it changes continuously. Once I’ve burnt out one album, I move onto another and so on and so forth.

It all depends on the mood I’m in.

On the subject of Girlfriends…

When I introduced my GF to Therapy? she said “ooh, I like these, they sound a bit like Def Lepard”!!!!!!???????!!!!

What?

DEF LEPARD!?

Ooh, I felt dirty. Dirty I tells ya!

Def Leppard?…

That day will haunt me for the rest of my days.

I tried to argue. I said “Def Leppard? Are you off your tits? They sound fuck all like Joe Elliot and the rest of his gang”. But she was adamant.

I’m still coming to terms with the fact that my girl friend thinks I like Def Leppard. Dear god, Christmas is coming up. If end up with a Def Lepard CD, I don’t know what I’ll do! I just can’t pretend ‘it’s what I’ve always wanted’. I want a Chinese burn more than any CD by Def Leppard!

Possibly the worst pile of pish to ever hit the screens.

Scene 1. We’re in a tool factory
Scene 2. I Know, lets make a band called Def Leppard.
Scene 3. Stadium rock show.
Scene 4. Blah blah blah.

I switched it off at that point.

Anyway I think its time to raise the bar again. 1 armed isn’t enough anymore. I think out of sportsmanship he should cut off the other one too. That’d be a show.

You have to ‘big up - ‘nuf respect’ to any limbless drummer that pull it off.

Not like our one armed friend in Def Leppard, who just plays the same drum line over every single song.

Yep, I got into them well after Infernal Love. I saw Loney, Cryin’ Only on MTV2 around the time of Semi-Detatched’s release, but didn’t like it (I don’t know why, looking back). Then, shortly afterward, I heard Teethgrinder on some big live open-air festival and I thought it was incredible. Then my friend got Suicide Pact and wanted us to learn Jam Jar Jail. I thought the whole CD was great, and the saga (because it IS a saga) continued from there.

Not him playing anyway,it’s a drum machine. Most of their albums were drum machine even before he lost his arm…It’s a FACT!

:p No. I saw them live on the Troublegum tour, hadn’t heard them before that. I didn’t even go to a show on the Shameless tour.
