I really hope they don’t fuck up Episode 3 like they did with 1 & 2 because the storyline has the potential to be really cool.
My favourite Stars Wars film is The Empire Strikes Back it made quite an impression on me when i first saw it,i think i was about 4 or 5 at the time and it was the first film i’d seen where the heroes didn’t win at the end.
Same here, cause it got you wanting to see the next film (Return of the Jedi, which I didn’t think was that bad cause of the Ewoks), but I saw Phnatom Menace and thought it was a bit slow. Jar Jar Binks didn’t bother me, but it lacked the magic of the trilogy that we all knew first time round.

Nobody kid themselves here. no matter what you will go see it. You have no choice. It is ingrained in your mind to see this movie if you are 20+ years old.

Lucas should have kept that in mind when making this set of films - Kids dont give two shits about Star Wars… it should have been made for folks like us!

Yeah, with blood and fighting and big robot walkers and furry little cute fighting fuckers and big hairy fighting fuckers. Not this romance pish. We want people trying to fuck their sisters. We need Han Solo.

Has anyone here seen the Clone Wars cartoon? The animation is a bit basic and the story is set between episode 2 and 3.
I must admit everytime i see the new Star Wars trailer i get a bit excited but i keep remembering what Simon Pegg said on the Film show with Jonathan Ross about the new Star Wars films “twice bitten twice shy”.The trailer for episode 2 looked good as well but the film was just ok.So i’m not expecting too much so maybe i won’t be as disappointed this time around.

I’m going to see it, even though I thought after the crappy episode 2 I wouldn’t want to. But no! Now I’ve read lots and lots of reviews of people who also think that episode 1 and 2 were disappointing, but they say ep. 3 is really better. Now I’m kinda hyped.

Just seen it and that was the worst acting I’ve ever seen. Portman was utter rubbish. I’ve got porn with better acting. The dialogue was attrocious. Good fights though, but I am not comepletly satisfied. It doesn’t make up for Jar Jar binks.

Title: Revenge of the Sith (merged)
Just been to see Revenge of the Sith. Against all the odds, and contrary to my expectations, it’s not shit at all. And what happens to Anakin at the end is REALLY nasty - the kid behind me with his parents was totally traumatised! He’ll not sleep tonight, heh heh heh.
Anyway, has anyone else seen it and what does everybody think of it?
