travel to Dublin from England - help!

#

Started by dragginthru

I’m making my first trip to Ireland in Feb to see Kerbdog in Dublin…

I am wondering if any helpful people on this board know the cheapest companies to go with.

I’ve only flown once, so assume i know nothing!

Ideally, i want to take my guitar and maybe my amp head as we (my band) are gonna try and get a gig in dublin on the sunday night somewhere.

THanks for any help!

Gazz

If you’re bringing music gear Ryanair may not be that cheap, they charge for everything over 15kg. As far as I know most other airlines have a limit of 25kg and rarely enforce it, whereas ryanair are very strict. Basically, I’ve done my fair share of travelling, usually bringing lots of stuff and Ryanair are the only ones to ever charge me for overweight baggage.

There are plenty of sites like cheapestflights.co.uk and ebookers you should check out too.
