Winnebago Deal are apparently supporting. havnt heard anything of them but people here say they’re good. Although do you think theres a chance Ginger form the Wilhearts might appear on stage? They’re playing a gig in the limelight tonight (monday).

I think Tokyo Dragons are supporting, but the tickets just say guests. However, riddle me this, do the doors open at 8 or 9, because different sources say different things. Tickets say 9, though…

Title: Belfast

Well, what a great gig! Thanks to Andy and the boys for tiring out this knackered old body. It does mystify me though exactly what a Womble is because I didn’t see any evidence that they were there tonight!! Never mind, the Army are on tour next week and (hopefully) I won’t get thrown out! I’ve never understood why crowd surfing is safe whilst merely sitting on someones shoulders constitutes a danger to life and limb - they wouldn’t even let me stop to by a T-shirt! I suppose there is one consolation - it was the last song - though it did pain me to miss Isolation … .

See you … wherever!

Andy

Yeah, I’m in school now. 5 hours sleep, and I just watched a documentary on The Rape of the Lock. The gig was incredible, and the support bands were both great. I crowd surfed halfway to the stage and ended up on my face on the floor. That was fun. Anyone remember the set list?

I know they opened with Unbeliever then Church of noise…

Ok, me and DeepSleep have got out of bed Tuesday morning at 5 AM, because our plane was leaving for Dublin very early. We arrived at the airport at 6 AM, and what do you do when you go to (Northern)Ireland: You drink beer, even if the time of day might not be seen as normal, given some looks we got! When we had to board some steward told us to take the back stairs of the plane( there were 5 of them), so we walked up to the ONLY one that had tow stairs…now, if we wouldn’t have been checked me and DeepSleep would have ended up in Malaga…but we didn’t

Tuesday, early in the afternoon we took the train to Belfast…a very nice ride indeed, with some beautiful surroundings and..uh..uh..some beers of course. There was this guy sitting next to listening to all sorts of rock music and I said” We are going to see him back very soon, which was true because” The Man On The Train( as we nicknamed him was up front as well in the Mandela Hall. We had dinner in a nice pub, and even in Belfast I saw this guy wearing a Feyenoord shirt…cool! I really loved the gig, what a homematch for Therapy? and what a reception, what a briliant setlist…and Captain Andy: My shoulders apologise for taking you up, BUT YOU WERE ASKING IT YOURSELF…thats right, I was the tall blond shorthaired bastard, only found out later on you were kicked out, and really haven’t got a clue why! After the concert we had something to eat, had some beers, had a little chat with “The Gentlemen” themselves, and then were strolling down the streets of Belfast, armed with some bottles of beer and nearly got a 500£fine for public drinking…wasted, waiting for the first train to take us back to Dublin.

Wednesdaymorning roundabout 11 AM we arrived in Dublin. We were thinking of getting some sleep, but decided not to, since it’s not everyday you get to Dublin, so: F*&^% the sleep we thought, instead we took a hot shower, a good breakfast and got that beerengine running again. Dublin is really great, so many nice bars…damn! At night we first went to the bar across the street of the Ambassador, and saw loads of Therapy? t-shirts over there, and some strange old guy who was swearing at everything and everybody…hilarious! THen we went to the venue, saw another briliant Therapy? gig and…had some argument with the “Suckurity”, who were acting like they were doing a rolecast for a nazi…what a bunch of pricks!aftwerwards we went to The village, saw Any and Neil partying and had loads of beer…at 4 AM, when we were already awake for 47 hours, we went to the airport, drank some…and now I am home and I see this strange thing called “Bed”,I think I might try that early tonight:

Thank you Therapy? for another good year, thanks Belfast and Dublin: We had a great time…now I wonder whether my friend Niek is allready into his nickname now!

Good story Ronald, glad you enoyed Belfast. This was a cracking gig & I enjoyed it even more than the last few shows(which were good in their own right) including the night the DVD was recorded. Hearing Epilepsy & the oldies from Babyteeth was fantastic. A bloody great night, even though (or maybe because) I was lagered. :)
