Started by deadsetgav

Well we have done best album of 04 so why not best films?

The ones that I have liked are:

Shaun of The Dead
Dawn of The Dead (04 remake of course)
Hellboy
Bourne Supremacy
Bubba Ho-Tep
Kill Bill 2
Collateral
Dodgeball
Troy
Spiderman 2

I still need to see The Village and Open Water…

I think its been a bit quiet for films this year

Definitely Shaun of the Dead. Spiderman 2 was great as well. Anyone who says Van Helsing will have their WoM membership revoked :p

I know, no complicated plots and in-depth characters or other highly intellectual stuf, but good entertainement (for me, that is)

A great film that came out of a great book (which is a rare thing).

I didn’t go to the cinema much this year i’ve got more into the habit of watching DVD’s.Hellboy is my favourite film of 04.I thought Tom Cruise was really good in Collateral he should play more darker roles in the future.

I saw this for the first time last night - what a fantastic film… I didn’t know anything about it before I saw it which just made the whole experience better!

Jim Carey was actually great in a film - I didn’t want to punch him once.

watching it a 2nd time is a completely different experience to the 1st though.

i could say the same about kate winslet. i didn’t know she actually could act. always seemed like a pretty face just to me

Spiderman 2
The Day After Tomorrow
I, Robot

3 big summer movies, and all quite good. Realyy liked the DotD remake as well

Not sure if it counts:

Shaun of the Dead - only saw it on dvd, but ‘he’s never liked me and now he wants to kill my mum’ - how could you not like that?

Regrets

Collateral
Eternal Sunshine

Wanted to see both, missed both, really not good at renting stuff.

Probably a load of other good stuff too, but can’t relly remember…

I have read the book and it is good. Similar to Irvine Welsh in style.

Anyway, to the point. I saw Team America last night. Fantastic!
