So Here is a Live report about the T? gig at Merignac the 14th of April 2005,extracted from the French Edition Of the Magazine “Rock Hard”.I made my best to translate it from French,and sorry the press article was not well photocopied and scanned :

“It is a pleasure to note that T?,despite a phenomenal commercial decline and less-scale logistic support than during its years of ”major companies and golden records”,carries on touring intensively through Europe and especially,they don’t forget France…which is not very grateful with them.,since this date attracted 300 people or so,which is in the average of the other concerts the band has given in this country (But what a pity when we think back about the succes of the band at every date when they toured in here for “Troublegum” or,even “Infernal Love”…) And moreover,quite obviously,A big part of the audience came to support the guest bands : Dham(atmospheric and dark music with “Tool”ambiences) and Psykup(Unclassified Metal).Finally,the electric ambience during the Psykup set went a little bit “light” at the begining of the T? set.Hopefully,they knew such moments like that and they gave everything without carrying of the low crowds or the ambience,which is almost passive…The first part of the gig is based on the most recent tracks of the band,which,we profit by this to underline that,has never released mediocre albums since its fall in the charts.Neil Cooper,who joined the bands 2 years ago,seems to be the right drummer at the right place and gives an energy on which bounces (it is the case to say that with this jumping “poix”[Ndlr:sorry I failed to translate that :( ],Michael Mc Keegan,always excited on his bass.As for Andy Cairns[Ndlr ::I didn’t mention some illtimed remarks made by the Journalist on Andy ],He’s still a very honest(in all the meanings of this term)Guitarist/Singer and above all a great composer.The second half set sees the audience wake up,when the band plays the “Hits”,the “classics”and the people take aware that they have a lot(and then they didn’t play “Trigger Inside”,”Loose” and “Opal Mantra”to quote only them).The encore ,with “Diane”in muscled version takes no prisonner.And it is sincerly satisfied that the band thank warmly his audience:and if the ambience was not extraordinary,this gesture confirms that this band,deeply human,deserves a thousand times better than the semi anonymity in which it’s been for almost six years.Respect Boys!!!!”
