i hope they dont make one without ozzy, cos that other bloke they had was shite,so who’s gonna sing? i mean iommi’s riffs are just as important as ozzy’s vocals but you cant have sabbath without ozzy, its like weetabix without milk!!
now, ozzy doin sabbath tunes with another band always worked, get zakk wylde back in!!!
anyway i thought that ‘the lat supper’ was oficially thier last album- but then theres always that shiny dollar to think about
but yeah you’re right divers they’ve had their day really!!
they should make room for other talent, i mean music is lokking really great for the next year , what with McFly, and charlie’s new band fightstar, its sure gonna be a great year for rock … ahem :D

Fightstar rock!!! :D
At least they sound like Funeral For A Friend / Lost Prophets which seems to be trendy at the moment.

I couldn’t comment on the people who initiated the petition without using the words ” GET” “A” and “LIFE”…
How very sad…

I love Black Sabbath (1970), Paranoid (1971), Master Of Reality (1971), Vol. 4 (1972) and Sabbath bloody sabbath (1973). After those albums, for me, Black Sabbath are dead.
Now they can do what they want, I don’t care.
But I must admit that Toni Iommi’s solo album (2002?) is good…
Rock on!
:D

It doesn’t really matter whether they continue or not and how they continue. Neither Ozzy, nor Sabbath will ever record anything important again. Ozzy has already destroyed his legacy with his stupid TV Show and there’s no way to make that forgotten now.
Most Sabbath purists probably don’t want to see any other frontman than Ozzy for their favorite band. From a reasonable point of view, however, replacing Ozzy would be the best thing Iommi & co. can do. Reasons?
1. Ozzy was never a good singer and he’s just awful these days.
2. Ozzy isn’t commited to Sabbath in any way. If he ever goes into the studio again it will only be for the sake of making some money.
3. Nobody - not even 5 year old kids - takes Ozzy serious anymore.

I think it’s all a bit pathetic. But hey, if they want to, why not? There may be even fans from the old days that like it. It’s a bit like the Stones; music for the old and grey by the old and grey. ;)

That’s really sad, yet, very funny.
A new Sabbath album would probably do more harm to their legacy than anything.
