i have their first album and like it, yet never felt compelled to invest in any more…

Used to be really into them. Saw them once a fair few years back, not too impressed so just left them on the shelve, so to speak. I’ll give em a spin on the turntable tomorrow and I will tell thee what I think.

They are great there were everywhere at one point and then i didn’t hear from them for a while but the new album isn’t to bad i prefered the early stuff. But they have a live album out at the moment so it would be interested to see well it captures them.

When I went to see T? last year I was waiting for my mates to arrive. One was a T? fan the other was just up for a night out. Anyway, my non T? fan mate arrived first and was on the phone when he saw me. He was talking to some guy from the bank about something or other. So he tells the guy he had to go, he’s about to go in and see a gig. I guess the guy from the bank was being friendly and asked who was playing, my mate said:

“Therapy?, remember them?”

followed by

“Yeah me too, but there apparently still together”

and finally

“I think it was called Teethgrinder”

They’ll have a new album called Tank out soon and will be on tour again (in Germany at the end of April).

Does anyone like these guys, their a sort of mix of dub dancehall and ragga, im enjoying “tank” at the moment the songs seem to have something about them that you wouldnt normally hear in most hip-hop influenced music.

Nearest thing I can think of is something like Skindred, although they take a reggae influence, rather than an Asian one.

My brother always gets ADF confused with another 90’s band and calls them “Asian Dubstar”

Not heard a lot of them (Dub War, previous incarnation of the band, supported the manics when i saw them years ago) but I am kicking myself for missing them at the Bulldog Bash recently. My friend saw them and said they were amazing.

Kerrang! radio played a live acoustic version of Pressure this week - very good indeed!

Well i spent about an hour speaking to benji and he is one of the coolest guys ive met, he even gave me a free can of coke, yeah my dads seen dub war supporting someone. Dub war i think is actuallly better than skindred.
