I wouldn’t start with rise up- could be tricky for a beginner. Screamager’s always a good starting point. Also, try Jam Jar Jail.

Skyward is a pretty good song to start with - its simple but not incredibly boring to play.

Jam Jar Jail is easy…
Also Sister, but you have to play it fast… It’s not a good start.
Die laughing it’s ok, and screamager too.
Rock you monkeys it’s not so hard to play:
CCCCCBA#G#G#G#G#
And also FFA#F, G#G#C#G#
Or, sometimes, GGGGGA#A#A#A#A#
Try…

I wouldn’t start off with anything from NANE- its all in C tuning, and that’ll be a real pain for a beginer, or anyone else for that matter. Anyway, are you sure that the tab for Screamager is correct? The bass plays the guitar riff as well (at least, he does live) during the chorus, and there’s a lot of octave (tapping on and off the 12th fret, in this case, on the E string) work going on.
Try Innocent X if you’re feeling frisky;

g———————————
d———————————
a—————————-1—
E-0-0-0-1-0-0-0-3—-3

g——————————
d——————————
a——————————
E-0-0-0-1-0-0-0-3-1-3

Its always fun, especially if you got a dirty overdrive (which I don’t:()

loose is really easy for guitar except for solo, not sure bout bass though

riff is just a g d bridge e and then chorus, g d e,

you can do the root notes on one string and play along with cd to get a feel for it

Practice going to the 5th fret and back on the E and A stings. Then you’re ready for any bass duties you may have to fill in on. ;)
