Pinnacle PCTV

I have this little problem with the pinnacle PCTV. That programme was installed 3 years ago on my computer, but I haven’t used it in the last 2 years. Because my television broke down yesterday :(, I want to use that programme again. But now it says ‘can’t install hardware’ when I want to start it up. There was nothing wrong with it when i used it the last time…
If someone could just tell me what might be wrong and/or what i could do about it…
help…
