first song i ever heard by megadeth. my brother asked me to go to dublin and buy the megadeth album with the song “crush” on it. i couldnt find it so i saw cryptic writings with “trust” on it. i thought at the time that he had made a mistake in the title of the song so i bought that one. gotta love the drum intro!

yeah i got risk for him a few weeks later and i was let down. i left it in my old house and i havent bothered ringing my ex-flatmates about it. (any other album of mine and id be back in a flash looking for it.)

So Far..So Good..So What has a few of my favorite Megadeth tunes “In My Darkest Hour” and “Mary Jane” but the original product was a little off.
Rust in Peace is in a class all it’s own and Countdown was strong as well. From there is was downhill.
But over the years Killing is My Business has taken over my Megadeth rotation. Rattlehead is one of the all time great thrash songs.
I love the remastered version of the album, you can actually tell what Dave is saying…sort of. But I wish they could have put the uncensored version of “These Boots”. I wish I still had my old tape. I gave it to my nephew before I noticed that the CD didn’t have have the song.
