Metal bands, where are they?

Just need some help, can anyone recommend me any decent new and perhaps upcoming metal bands that are making the rounds at the moment? I’m interested in finding some sweet riff-o-la! :D

Why, certainly. Not new, but massivly under-rated are ‘The Gone Jackals’, who you’ll only have heard on the soundtrack to PC game ‘Full Throttle’. Stuff can be downloaded via peer-to-peer, but good luck getting it elsewhere!

Up-and-coming- check out local N.I. band ‘Sinocence’- saw ‘em supporting machine-head, and they were incredible, and still are. Google ‘Sinocence’. They’re workinbg on a new album.

None of these are really new and up and coming but they all have recently released new albums or due a new one very soon:

Lamb Of God
Soilwork
In Flames
Darkest Hour
Bleeding Through
Dark Tranquility
The Haunted
Strapping Young Lad

My brother has just got the latest ‘Cult Of Luna’ which he says is great as well.

Do you have any MP3s by any chance? Or do you know where I can find them?

I looked on their website but I can’t find any… or maybe I’m blind again

Personally, no. As far as I’m aware none exist. Luckily, I get to see them live because I live in Northern Ireland. They say MP3s are coming soon to their site, but its said that for a very long time.

I recommend dark tranquillity to all of you! great riff-o-rama with brutal vocals and great lyrics!!

I’d recommend ‘lost to apathy’ from their new (and awsome!) album as a starter.
