Of course it’s Marilyn Manson’s fault. The cannabis drocve him to psychosis? OK, we’ve all gone bonkers smoking the stuff.
But killing someone?
That’s in the head already! Stop blaming cannabis.

Sick little puppy. Can’t imagine what went on in that kids head. He’s still a fucking child for christ sake.
Him and his mom should be put away for a long long time.

Killing someone because they smoked cannabis…hmmmm.
“I’m going to kill you…man am I hungry, where’s the fridge?”
He was fucked up to start with, or are they trying to say there’s subliminal messages in a joint?
*takes draw* “Eat your dog’s eyes”

Last thing I want to do when stoned is kill someone. KIll a sandwich or some cookies maybe, but harming another person? No chance.
As for Marilyn Manson? I hope that if I ever lose it and kill Will Young then my music collection will not be blamed.

As well as being worried about the fact that cannabis use and listening to heavy metal were cited as factors by the prosecution, I’m just not sure about this conviction. All of the evidence is circumstantial, for a start. There were no forensic links to the convicted, he had no history of violence, and both he and his mother have consistently denied he was near the area at the time…

We only know what the media tells us about the case -
plus his mum lied when she gave him an alibi - that much was proven.

If the media had information on any firm evidence then we’d have heard about it.
The evidence seems to be:
a) he was interested in horror films, schoolboy satanism and heavy metal, and took recreational drugs
b) their initials were carved in a tree near the murder scene (?)
c) he phoned the murdered girls house after she had been killed, to ask where she was
and d) he gave a TV interview during the murdered girl’s burial
Hardly a watertight conviction IMO.

The fact he had threatened girls previously with knives is also circumstancial

I heard he owned a knife, but not that he’d threatened anyone with it. But I’d better not get into a debate, as I don’t want it to look like I’m defending a convicted murderer ;)

If smoking weed, watching horror films, listening to heavy metal, and drawing pentagrams on schoolbooks as a young adolescent are grounds for execution, then I should be in good company at the gallows :)
