I endured what the Americans call a “football game”, i.e. that one with the helmets and the 1980’s Dynasty shoulder pads and the stopping every two f*cking seconds to measure how far they have managed to throw the damn ball. No wonder the games last for about four hours. There’s about 20 mins of actual play in that time.
I shall never ever ever complain at being bored by a proper (i.e. soccer) football match again
You sound like my American football loving friends when I try to get them to watch an EPL game. Except they always complain that there’s not anything of interest happening! ;-)

Nevertheless it must admit fair-play being of Irish fans and players too because I can swear you all that the opposite happened, you could watch riots in here in France. Marseille likes 1 week ago…
I really don’t think France team’s win is sporting. Really not, but I wonder wether with this professional level reached by the french players involves the Art of cheating as well. Remember Maradonna with his “Hand of God”, Materazzi and Zidane in 2002 which answer back by his head, wound feigning…
I really think it’s not the spirit of sport as it should be.
I’m sorry for Irish.

I’ve been interesting for your sports for less than a year…I followed the end of the Play-offs…I’m more interested in tactics and strategies used by each team than the clichés “Big strong guys in armour trying to smash every opponent on his way” though I don’t much about the rules…Which team do you support ? I was quite pleased with the Steelers winning for the last Super Bowl…Santonio Holmes…What a crazy guy :D

I’m actually more of a basketball and soccer (football) fan. Love the Los Angeles Lakers and Aston Villa! But the Steelers are a great American Football team to support with an awesome tradition of winning. I also like the Houston Texans because the beat the Cowboys, whom I hate, in their debut.
