Kerrang 100 best British rock albums

#

Started by silverginger5

This week in Kerrang they have the 100 best British rock albums ever as voted by the public. To my enjoyment Therapy? made it into the chart 3 times.
Propping up the pile at number 100 was Infernal Love.
Then at number 76 Nurse
And finally at number 31 was Troublegum.
(what no High Anxeity!!)

Just thought you may be interested to see T? back in the top 40 again, all be it in a roundabout way.
Out of interest Black Sabbath was number 1 with their self titled album (still think maiden should have won)

Well it is Kerrang! Most of the readers are 13 and 14 year olds, and the only rock bands they know exist are the one’s on the Kerrang! channel. And since Kerrang bums muse, the little kiddies are gonna vote for it.

I mean c’mon, Therapy? and The Wildhearts should be in the top ten.

I didn’t say ALL 13 and 14 year olds. I work at an under 18s rock night and the only songs the kids know are the ones played on Kerrang! There are a few that actually know their music but it’s about 1 in 50.

It was good to see three of T?’s albums there though. Okay, they should’ve had a higher placing, but at least they got in the chart.

There is an article about bands being endorsed - it mentions Therapy getting endorsed by Marshall amps - and them writting ‘Therapy?’ in the Marshall font on the front of the amps

In the little column it said the band had suffered a load of set backs over the years and said something along the lines of ‘they should be massive and we hope they will still achieve it - then something about beard dye…’

Which I thought was nice!

I think Kerrang started to go downhill when they filled their pages with Nu-metal bands week in week out so it was probably around 99 i stopped reading as well.

Anyway I have had enough of this whole 100 best lists that Kerrang do they seem to be running out of stuff to fill the mag with.
100 Best Mullets that have benefited rock
100 biggest fukwits to maim a tune
600 tracks that if you don’t own then you should kill yourself and let you friends piss on your first born child!
I’m sick of it I tell you!!!

I agree. We have reached a stage in history where if we don’t vote for anything and everything we are lost.

If we don’t know what the best albums of all time are, the greatest love songs, greatest actors.. then whats the fucking point of living.

All these lazy journalists and producers who can’t think of anything better to do.

I blame the millenium.
