Wasn’t they supposed to do 2 gigs last year in both cities but they re-scheduled dates and then cancelled..?

I tried to check that from Alex’s page’s live section but all I got was “Please wait…”. What happened to them, Alex?

they were supposed to play in istanbul and izmir last year but the promotion company fucked up and couldn’t pay up so they couldn’t come… this time the promoter is a very respectable one and i don’t think there’ll be any bad surprises about reliability.

it was freakin’ great in istanbul. there was much fewer people than i expected but still the guys rocked the place. The highlights of the gig were definitely “Potato Junkie”, “The church of noise” (or should i say “the mosque of noise” as Andy sang), “Stories”, “Screamager” (whoa!) and “Rock the monkeys”. Generally the gig was awesome and i had to take a test of 3 hrs. this morning so i feel numb, if i forgot something, fill it up guys who were there last night.

oops, i forgot “Teethgrinder”, it rocked too, also “Polar Bear” and “Diane” and also “this ship is sinking” (yeah, i love them all).

the missing ones were (at least for me): Lonely Cryin’ Only (they should come back to play it up, eh?), Last One to Heaven’s a Loser, Hey Satan You Rock, 30 Seconds, So Called Life, Evil Elvis…

Still a great show. Guys, they should come here more often though.

it was an amazing show… they were so great… i mean anything i try to say here will be an insult to the show cos it’s better than anything i can describe here… i’ve been waiting for this concert for years and it was well worth it…

they also played neck freak, i was really happy to hear he’s not that kind of girl. it was fun to click fingers during the song as michael made us do. this concert was so much fun. usually i’m pissed off when people don’t show up for a great band. but you know what this time for those who weren’t there, i’m not angry at all cos obviously they don’t deserve such a great show. it was an honor and a privilidge to be there. and i’m sure that the word of mouth will make them come to the next concert which according to andy won’t take years this time.

i was also lucky enough to meet the guys. they are really very cool. i felt like i was talking to old friends, which makes sense i guess since i’ve been listening to therapy? for about 8-9 years now. oh man. i’m still so excited!!

well, to be honest, I’m so happy, so I have no story!!!! hahahaaa!!!

Both of the concerts were great. The highlights were: “Potato Junkie” (Andy dedicated this song to me!!!!!), “Rock You Monkeys” (Making everyone shout “George Bush is a fucking asshole”), “Church of Noise” ( singing it as “The Mosque Of Noise”)and “Teethgrinder” (Michael’s screaming “Grinding The what?”)

Before the concert, my photographer friend, Tayfun took some pictures of the guys. You can check one of them:

http://www.ozakinci.net/fotos/20050514_therapy/therapy.jpg

Izmir’s playlist was:

Meat Abstract
Turn
Gimme Back My Brain
Die Like A Motherfucker
Rust
If It Kills me
Church Of Noise
He’s not that kind of girl
Rock you monkeys
Perish The Thought
Polar Bear
Stories
Potato Junkie
Isolation
Teethgrinder
Neck Freak
Screamager
Die Laughing

Diane
Nowhere
Knives

For Istanbul’s playlist, ask it to man of five!!!!
