Let’s See a B-Sides and Rarities Comp.

#

Started by FNYANKEZ

Anyone else out there like to see T? put out a CD of just their various B-Sides and odd compilation contributions?

So many of these are now out of print it be nice to see one for the newer fans or (like me) the older one’s born on the wrong continent.

There’s definitely plenty of great material that many of us have yet to hear…

Who’s with me!?

Maybe if enough of the WoMbats speak up they’ll do it…Like next year after the new album has been out a while and they’ve toured for it a bit..that way it doesn’t deflect anything from the new material which is still most important.

Thoughts? Complaints? Discuss…

What’s wrong with WoMble?? Don’t ever be ashamed of your heritage, son. Stand up and be counted. ;)

OK, I second the motion but only original songs can be nominated to be on the compilation. That means no consolidated synth versions of Isolation, no live renditions of Die Laughing and so on.

I’d also love to see the B-sides of the vinyl singles they put out plus their cover versions of Teenage Kicks, With Or Without You, Lost Highway, Invisible Sun and all the other covers.

I claimed him when we started using WoMble, I said to Hooch that I wanted to be Orinoco, it was my title for a good while. Can’t find the post anymore though. So..

I officially declare Orinoco MINE! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Well, just be glad that you’ve missed out on the connotations of the song ‘Orinoco Flow’.

A cd with stuff that you can’t get elsewhere easily, like Have a Merry Fucking Christmas, would be cool, although just putting them on the website would be fine too…

This would be great. I say pack as much on as possible. B-sides, fan club tracks, compilation tracks, remixes, live/acoustic versions, rare covers etc. etc.
Maybe I’m a greedy bugger, mind you.

I would love a boxset but failing that a 2 CD set of B-sides and rarities would be cool and stick on as many tracks on both CD’s as possible.

A friend of mine and I put something like this together a few years back, it was pretty much everything we had between the two of us and clocked in at 4 cd’s…keep in mind this was around the time of Semi-Detached.

Barring the live stuff and remixes I think there’d be a good 2 full cd’s and they would kick ass, the major hoop would most likely be record label shenanigans.

I think the point is that people want an official release of some type though. Those are hard enough to come by, especially here in the US. If it’s a bootleg it’s probably already priced out of my range before shipping costs.

My wife bought me the Nirvana box-set for xmas and, after listening to all our material we wanted nothing more than to get the ‘other stuff’ out there.

I’d rather bring out that box-set while I’m alive. Rock on, Andy C.

This Therapy? box-set sounds absolutely marvellous!!!!!!
No doubt there will be gems as the previous demos (esp. NANE) from this site are quite good quality and truly awesome…

I hope that it will see the light of the day in the near future (while we all are alive :)) and if it indeed comes out I will raise my hat to Therapy? and their caring for the fans who love their music.
