Support Acts !!!

#

Started by centinarijo

After reading some comments on these message boards about some of the support acts, we thought it would be a fun idea to see what people actually have to say about all the support acts (not just CABRÓN)sharing the stage with Therapy? on their tour.So for all you people out there, post your loveletters, hatemail and spill your guts about the support acts you’ve seen on the Therapy?-tour.

People that wanna spill their guts about CABRÓN (support in Hasselt and Brugge)can do this also by leaving a message in our message board at :

http://www.geocities.com/cabron_band

(You can also download music from the demoCD)

And last but not least thanks to Andy, Michael & Neil for giving us the chance to share the stage with them (in Hasselt & Brugge) and emptying their fridge!!

Greetings from Belgium,
CABRÓN

Hmmm, this wasn’t actually what we had in mind but I do need to admit that it looks like kind of a self-promo stunt although not bad intended.(happens when you try to put kids in bed, work and mail at the same time…guess I’m getting old).
Still, anyone saw an interesting band on stage with Therapy during their tour, spill your guts.

Meantime, don’t shoot, we mean you no harm…

“freely” translated more like “asshole”. Used more in Latin-american countries (Mexico) then in Spain.

I thought Winebago Deal were fantastic. I bought their CD as a result of this, and it is great. Tokyo Dragons were also great to nod your head to, sit back and enjoy.

I would love to be in a band that translated as asshole!

I think the best Therapy? support I have seen is Winnebago Deal - I had seen em a few times before they supported T? and had their albums so it was a real bonus seeing a band that I already knew.

Other than that I think the other support acts I have seen have been mediocre…

the best and worst support bands Therapy have had were on the shameless tour. Scottish punk band nerve were awesome and reall got the crowd going but the second band defenestration where shite, a growling pig of a woman on vocals who couldn’t seem to realise that they got no reaction from the crowd because they were crap!!

Only abuse you’ll get is pointing out that they weren’t the support band, they were the co-headliners. Besides, they were nowhere near as good for the Dangerfields, and that’s just from that one night.

nerve-very good band, defenestration-not so good, but to call her a pig is a bit harsh, i met her ( gen? )and she was very down to earth and absolutely gorgeous! not in a classic sense, but she had something lovely about her, which appeals more to me than anything
