I stayed in Stratford last year. There’s a hostel a few minutes outside of the actual town, which has a bus stop right outside of it.
That’s all I can really say, but it’s quite cheap, which is good.

i’m in LONDON these days and i really wanted to come…
but i think i’ll get lost in a few minutes…
a few questions for “veterans”
- tickets are available there?
- sure it’s ONLY £45?
- anyone going there from LONDON?
- if yes, can you give a lift? or give some direction to get there by train? or go by train together?
- where can i sleep if i have nothing for camping?? (and not too much money in my pocket)
- can i survive there friday-saturday-sunday morning with £150 (including £45 entrance and train ticket)?
thanx, really hope to come…
london is only a little bit away, and i’m sure you can fifure out a train to birmingham, and then to stratford upon avon. i managed to do it, and i’m a stupid american. ;) well, i had the advantage of a rented motorbike. zen and the art of travel, let the moment provide, but don’t forget your towel. i’ll check back to see if you can manage a helmet and a few pints as cab fare.
I’ll be off in the campground somewheres when i’m not wandering around.
till then, I’ll be kicking around, see you at the show.

In no particular order (except for first song and last two) here’s what I remember of the set list at the bulldog Bash. Like I say, this is from memory so I have missed some out, I am sure.
Played for one hour.
Knives
Teethgrinder
Die Laughing (Dedicated to Tommy Vance)
Ten Year Plan
Isolation
Perish The Thought
Polar Bear
Rock You Monkeys
Rust
Stories
Screamager
Nowhere
..and one other song that I am ashamed to admit I didn’t recognise.
I know, I know, just shoot me now!

Ok now I was very wasted and ill. I remember the mystery song in question starting and I turned to my friend and said “Yay, Ive not heard them play this for ages” I know I sang along with great guster and I believe I was shouting “Im fucked” a lot. If that is so the song is ‘Neck Freak’. I was too drunk then to be sure now but I think that was it or of course I was yelling “Im fucked” because I was so drunk!

According to Neil’s diary entry, it was Punishment Kiss.
And he also explains the absence of the mighty Potato Junkie, which I nearly cried myself to sleep over that night, being a sad bastard and all.
here’s looking forward to Bulldog Bash 2006 - Twentieth anniversary, already being billed as “The Big One”

No I remember Punishment kiss being played. So did I dream Neck freak then? Why was I shouting Im fucked? Maybe it was punishment kiss I said to my mate I hadnt heard them play in ages? Because that much is true. ???? I’ll ask my friend to clarify.
