I’ve got most of the album. Its nothing like Deftones. Some really mellow stuff. I got a tic too to see them in Amsterdam.

My copy arrived through the post yesterday and I have listened to it about 4 or 5 times now

I really like it - some parts remind me of Mogwai and other parts remind me of My Bloody Valentine… It also isnt that far away from the two quiet tracks off the last Deftones album.

It is really good though.

I’ve actually only interupted its time in the CD player since that last post once when I put “On The Turn” after reading the Kerbdog thread. This albums really that good!

See you at the gig Mr Deadset!

I have the Team Sleep album now and i don’t think it’s that much better than the new Audioslave.Team Sleep is an just ok album but at 15 tracks it’s too long,i know the running time of the album is under an hour but it sometimes feels like an endurance test to listen to it all in one sitting. They’ve used Teenager from White Pony as the template for all the songs but they’ve not really developed the idea.I prefer the ‘quiet’ songs on the last two Deftones albums. The tracks with Chino singing are the best i find the other two singers a bit dull,i bet Team Sleep are boring live.Oh and it has one of the worst album covers i’ve seen since the first Muse album.

I found it a bit boring too, but gonna go see them anyway tomorrow. Let’s hope it’s better than the CD. There’s always beer if it is.
