Actually you pretty much can.. Just nothing ‘excessive.’ But that can still legitimately involve killing them. It needn’t even go to court.

The problem with Tony Martin was the fact that he used to brag about wanting to shoot a burglar and he had an illegal firearm. Under those circumstances i guess it was difficult to go easy on him…
But in principal - he was right.

I think Tony Martin also refused to show remorse for what he did, as he believes he was right.
I think they said they would have let him out if he had said sorry for what he had done - fair play to him for sticking to his principals, whether he was right or wrong in doing what he did.

He claimed his injury ruined his sex life and affected his mobility haha then one of the papers printed a pic of him on a mountain bike and that was the end of the claim.

I was glad to hear the claim was thrown out,i hate it when scum like that profit.I had a lot of sympathy for Tony Martin if i was in his shoes i don’t think i would have backed down either.
Where i live it use to be pretty quiet but then there was a lot of new houses built near us and its basically nothing but scum that have moved into them. The crime rate has shot up a bit there were a couple of burglaries, assaults and vandalisim etc. They were hanging outside our house one night acting hard in their hoodies and they started throwing stones i chased the ringleader of the group and scared the shit out of him.I’m normally a calm reasonable guy but i really lost my temper that night my sister thought i was going to kill him.We called the police after and there were a number of other incidents involving those dickheads but thankfully we managed to get a conviction against them which made me very happy because every time they have to fill in a job application form they are going to have to stick down their convictions haha!:D
