Anybody catch this? I only caught the last 20 minutes but it’s one of the best editions of jools i’ve seen. I’ve hear of rufus wainwright before, but never heard him. That man has a very weird singing style, very dark, eerie and quite beautiful. And the music was not lacking to back it up. Then there was Acoustic Ladyland - a song of there’s - Iggy, fuck me that is just pure power wrapped up like a brick in a teacloth to the head. And the coral, definately don’t look like they should be on a stage, but they do sound like it. And new order doin transmission, never can really listen to them without wishin ian was singin (god rest his soul), but to listen to them musically doin joy division is heavenly.
fuckin a. i didn’t even get to see the rest of the acts!
