I’m not sure either. If there was a proper b-side sure, but a old live song doesn’t cut it for me. I’ll wait and see how much it is, but currently I’m leaning towards No. It’s not like it’s a physical thing to collect.

If the single doesn’t sell, their record company will never want to release a proper cd-single I think…

I had wished for a better b-side, too. I’ve got the Loose Digipack single with three live songs on it and one of them is die laughing.
Someone who checks out Therapy?s releases from time to time because he likes the good old troublegum CD which is standing on his shelf catching dust might find it an attracktive offer. I personally had wished for a Non-Album Track like Plebians…

Totally. I like collecting the singles and stuff. I’m not mad for it like some people, but I still like to have that little collection slowly growing over the years. Plebians would have been rock.

Apart from the fact that I don’t have own computer so I couldn’t buy it even if I wanted to, I only buy singles for the extra tracks. In that regard I’m (quite selfishly) glad the extra track isn’t ‘Plebians’. I would have been gutted if it had been made available and had no way off buying it. But I’m an old fashioned guy, and I like to stroll around record shops and buy my music physically on a cd.

I don’t like singles, much less downloadable ones. I’ve got the album- that’s enough. My computer’s sound card is bust, anyway.

I find this whole downloading of tracks interesting, for instance Winnebago Deal recently release a downloadable track, only available via the website. Now I’ve noticed you can also get hold of promo copies of it on CD via Ebay. Maybe T? will also be doing this so record stations can play their single..!

There is a CD promo of this single (I know, I’ve got one :p) but I don’t know how many were made. I bet they’ll start popping up on eBay soon enough though.

I only buy singles if the b-sides are good. Therapy? always do good b-sides, but this isn’t really worth it.

I wouldn’t care if they put a fart and a burp on a single and the only way of getting it was to go pick it up yourself in an Afghanistan cave , I’d still buy it and go get one if it was Therapy ?

sorry, I was just joking :D

I will probably get it anyway to support, but I dont think this release is really geared towards the hardcore fans, as there is nothing really new on it.

Can’t say I’ll be buying it. Why would I? I have the tracks already and as for another live version on Die Laughing, no thanks. I’m all for supporting the band but come on! make it worth my while. I ain’t 16 any more, I’ve got bills to pay. So I won’t be throwing away my hard earned cash on something I have already.

I will to support the band. All the other Yanks should do the same. They’re clearly doing this a test run. If it goes over well they can use it in the future to reach a larger audience (i.e. US and Canada) even without full blown record company support.

Perhaps even release some non-album rarities (hopefully older one’s) much easier than if they had to do it on a proper CD? One could hope anyway.

another live version of “die laughing” really doesn’t interest me at all. as such i shall not be indulging in this downloading thingy. i think that this “project” is a bad idea for therapy? to get into. if it was some new, or even rare stuff, then fine. but as it is, no.

I won’t be buying the new single because i already have those songs on NANE and if i want MP3 versions of them i’ll just stick NANE into my PC and rip them.I have far too many live versions of Die Laughing as it is although i’m glad it’s just a live version because i don’t have a credit card and i would hate it not being able to get my hands on a new T? song.Download singles don’t really appeal to me anyway if Polar Bear/Rock You Monkeys was a CD single i would have bought it without fail,i think it’s a bit late in the NANE campaign for a download single because we all have the album now.I know this download single is just a test but i think the best time to promote NANE with a download single would have been say about a month before NANE release.
It’s cool though the fans in the US and Canada will finally get a T? release.
Just as a matter of interest how much does a download single cost?
