Are Therapy? your favorite band?

#

Started by 30seconds

This might be a stupid question as it is the wall of mouths! But you never know! If not who are your favorite band?
:)

(Before changing the message boards’ software in August 2007 this discussion contained a poll, which may return in the future)

So Therapy? are not my favourite band, but definitely one of them.

I don’t have a numbered list of favourite bands, but along with bands like Afghan Whigs, Faith No More, The Bad Seeds and many others, they occupy a lot of time on my cd player.

that’s not really true me thinks. i have more than one favourite band, but therapy? is and i guess will always be my most-most-most favourite one. this is not just some crappy fan-talk, but i’ve noticed that when i haven’t played therapy? for days / weeks it just feels sooooo damn good to hear them again. and they keep surprising me. and they’re not just like any other band. and they’re really really special to me, not like any other band. and i love them. they definitely are my most favorite band.

There’s a few right up there with them (Pearl Jam, Pennywise) but Therapy? has consistently been in my top 3 since 1993, where other bands have slipped. So I guess that makes them champ.

I kind of agree with you. If youre biased about your musical favourites, (i know certain people who wont listen to anything other than their favourite bands eg Radiohead, Pixies, Smiths, Manics) then you know very little about music. I do have a favourite band at the mo, but it changes constantly. For weeks on end i could listen to the Beatles then never listen to them again, change is good but theres nothing wrong with having a band you follow more avidly. Well thats my two cents. (Ive never used that phrase before, just thought id throw it in at the end :) )

My favourite bands are T?, Type O negative, Anti nowhere league, 3 Colours red, (Old) Genesis, Tool and Rancid. However T? are the most important to me because nothing has influenced my life more. 13 years ago I was just starting out in life. I was a little T? obsessed being the first favourite band of mine that blew the others away. (Guns n Roses who?) I went places to see them, gained expeirience, met people etc etc. Thinking about it I would not be who I am today without T?. Aside from the fact that Id of drunk myself or bled to death, I wouldnt have the friends I do, never of met my partner of 8 years, wouldnt have my attitude and self confidence. Some of the biggest events of my life spiraled from a T? related activities. I would not be the person I now am without Therapy? Its amazing how one influencial thing can plant the seeds of your life and continue to nurture what has grown, years later without you even realising it.
