Yes there is in a town called Oulu. There is a film festival at the sametime if I remember correctly.
You are correct about the Wife Carrying (Dennis Rodman was there at this year but he couldn’t carry “wife” as his knee wasn’t in good condition but he said that next year he will win the contest) and Throw your Nokia, we have silly sports in the summertime like the mosquito killing contest… Most people think that Nokia throwing is throwing a mobilephone but originally Nokia made rubberboots and that trowing is throwing a Nokia rubberboot as far as you can.
