I’m no Harry Potter fan, but I think Popey needs to get out more often.

The sad reality of this is that its just a publicity stunt and both Harry and the Pope are really good friends in real life.

In fact you would regularly see them both at Iron Maiden concerts together snorting coke with the groupies.

I’ve never read any of the books or even seen any of the books anyone here like them?JK Rowling and her publishers must be laughing at the free publicity the Pope is giving them.
I’m going to hazard a guess the new Pope probably isn’t a fan of Hellblazer either.

All I know is that he is a wizard. I went to some snow boarding/extreme sports piss up and BBq yesterday and most people were sat around reading the new book. How extreme is that, so i came home.

Not my cup of tea, either harry potter or the pope

Personally i think the whole Harry Potter thing is utter shite, but at least it has got kids reading instead of kicking the fuck out of bus shelters and drinking cider (well some of them maybe)… surely this is only a good thing.

The pope can fuck off.

Haven’t read any Potters so don’t really know is the satan worshipping going on there. Couldn’t care less…

Actually I saw a while ago the first Potter film from telly and to be honest I liked it… (Should this go to the “Guilty Pleasure Movies-section? ;))

deadsetgav is right, it’s good that kids starts to read. Even though it’s funny that they started to que for the books a days earlier but it keeps them away from the really bad stuff. Satan can’t be bad, can it? :p

From the third book on, it’s not a book for kids anymore in my opinion. And certainly not the movies. It’s not like there’s a lot of blood in it and killing and stuff, but there are a few scenes that are very scary and definately nighmare material for kids.

I got the sixth book a day earlier from the internetshop, but I didn’t scream of joy when I saw it on the kitchen table :), because indeed, that is stupid

i felt that i better clarify before there was a sudden increase in the number of people calling the harry potter help line…saying things like how dumbo was gonna die can be extremely stressful for those slow readers who are still on page 24 after the last week or so of reading…but of course i didn’t give the main story away so there can still be hours of excitement remaining…

What the plot about the gang land murders and drug trafficing that harry does on the side and the dallas style it was all a dream ending. No it would be wrong to give that away.
