covers or not…

Started by McBain

Hi Guys,

I’ve got a question about the B-Sides of Singles. I’m not exactly sure which songs are covers and which aren’t. I know about most songs but some are on the cusp. (It’s not a complete list of all B-Sides but well, Evils Elvis, Bloody Blue and some others are out of question). Could some of you experts help me confirm/correct this list here?

Therapy?’s own Songs:

Summer of Hate
Human Mechanism
Pantopon Rose
Our Love Must Die (Sounds like a cover, but it isn’t, right?
Nice Guys
Suing God
60 Watt Bulb
Kids Stuff

Covers:

Tatty Seaside Town
Reuters
Nice ‘n’ Sleazy
All the ‘Gimme Gimme’ B-Sides

Mama, you can call the ambulance now (totally unsure about this one)

Thanks in advance.

Peter

Thanks guys, I thought “Gimme Therapy” was cover, too.

What about “The Sweeney”? I guess it’s a song of their own but if anyone knows else…

Therapy? also covered U2s “with or without you”.

What is “Big Time”? Did the guys publish it?

But it’s a good guess. Live8 had an audience of around 200,000 people while the Stones were seen by “an official estimate of three hundred thousand people” (source) or maybe even “with 500,000 people in attendance” (source).
