Greatest singing voice

#

Started by motherh666

I was just listening to Mike Patton belt one out and the guy has it all. Can sing and can scream the house down. Smooth like velvet or evil as anything.

Any other suggestions for best singing voice?

When he was young he could belt out a decent tune. Now..well..the less said the better.

Mike Patton has by far the best voice I have ever heard singing for a rock band

Scott Weiland has a really good voice - especially in the Stone Temple Pilot days.

Maynard James Keenan has a really, really good voice, especially live.

I also rate Brandon Boyd from Incubus, Trent Reznor & Chino from Deftones.

Seperate I dont think they are anything special but I always thought Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrells voices work really well together…

I think there’s a difference between being a good singer and being a good vocalist. I don’t know why I felt the need to make that distinction, but there you go.

And to continue my theme for the day, Patrick Wiren has a really cool voice.

But I’d also agree with Thom Yorke, and Nick Cave, in particular.
