Close my eyes halfway down the stairs

Started by FanFuckingAndy

I just got my hands on two therapy? tracks i never heard off: the first is called Close My Eyes and it’s a live (acoustic) recording.

It ain’t bad at all, but I wonder where it comes from… it’s pretty poor quality (56 kbps) so I think it origins from a radio broadcast or something.

It starts with an introduction where Andy asks the crowd wheter he should grow a moustache or not. Those who were there surely remember this moment :)

The other one is Halfway Down The Stairs (I think), also a live recording and it only lasts 1 minute; it’s Andy singing without instruments kind of a lullaby-song :)

Does anyone of you when they did these songs?

Cheers.

I Close My Eyes is from the Crossing Border Festival in The Hague, Holland 10/07/1999

Halfway down the stairs is been played live from about 1994 to 2000, it’s been on most bootlegs, mostly played before Unbeliever. There are a lot of topics to be found on this song.

I don’t have as much bootlegs as you, but on the four I have of that period they don’t seem to play that tune…

I admit not having searched actually, since there are a lot of people here just knowing these kind of things, thought this was the easiest way :p.

I remember Half Way Down The Stairs was played at the Donnington set in ‘94 (or was it ‘95?)

Remember that, when T? played 2nd to Metallica and above Slayer, Machine Head, White Zombie etc etc. Too cool.

You better have tougher questions as these easy ones are the ones that are getting on (at least my) nerves or the other way (polite) is to use search… Try it, it’s not that difficult :D

I got the point after the first reply, no need for that second remark.

If helping someone, even if it may have been an easy and redundant question, gets on your nerves, then maybe it’s time for some relaxation therapy for you… it was only a question.

After all, I didn’t oblige you to read, nor reply on that easy question.

Cheers.

After “there are a lot of topics to be found on this song”?
Actually it wasn’t meant to sound like that… I was just to lazy to post a link to that topic :o

Repetition sometimes is “the word”.
I don’t need any therapy because I have Therapy? ;)
It isn’t so hard to read the Guidelines..?
